Evaluating Your Anesthesia Services - What to Expect From Your Anesthesia Team
On May 8, Somnia Anesthesia hosted its second webinar of 2012, “Evaluating Your Anesthesia Services – What to Expect From Your Anesthesia Team.” Attended by almost 200 hospital administrators, consultants, and clinicians, the featured speakers – a medical director from a New York City-based trauma center and a chief administrative officer from an acute-care facility in the Four Corners region of New Mexico – shared their experiences with evaluating their anesthesia group. Their case studies illustrated how an examination of their former provider uncovered critical information that ultimately assisted in the selection of a group better equipped to meet their facility’s operational and clinical goals.
Speakers: Syed Ishaq, Vice President of Client Development, Somnia Anesthesia; David Perlstein, MD, MBA, Medical Director, St. Barnabas Hospital; and Tom Dean, Chief Administrative Officer, San Juan Regional Medical Center
We also invite you to download our resource document, "A Hospital's Guide to Evaluating Anesthesia Services," from the Thought Leadership section of our Web site to understand why the four critical areas of optimal anesthesia performance - leadership, financial management, clinical services, and quality improvement - are benchmarked in an anesthesia services evaluation.
